Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is one of the most visited cities in Southeast Asia. Hopeless romantics would visit it just because of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, but that is just one of the must-see destinations of the capital city.
I went to Kuala Lumpur in 2011 and here are some of my suggested spots to visit. I only stayed there for two nights, but was able to squeeze in the following in my itinerary:
Petronas Twin Towers
Soaring at a height of 451.9 meters, Kuala Lumpur’s twin skyscraper was named as the tallest building in the world until 2004, as it was towered by Taipei 101. The Petronas Towers features a post-modern design to stand as Kuala Lumpur’s icon for the 21st century. Comprising of 88 floors and extraordinary features, the structure took 7 years to be completed.
